We have a lot better medical care than Jesus did.

First of all, please learn to spell. It is Filipinos and it's crucify not cruxify. I've seen the same tv special several times. Their wounds never "miraculously" healed. And they don't hang there for an extended amount of time. They are not left there to die. They have themselves removed after like 30 minutes or so. There's an added difference. Plus, it's not that Jesus could never have escape the crucifiction. It was God's will that he go through with it for man's salvation. So he willingly died on the cross.

They don't follow the method of a true Crucifixion, the nails (more slender than the original), pierce through the palm, between to of the bones of the hand. Also, their feet are tied rather than nailed on. Also, they only hang there for a short time, I believe it was no more than fifteen minutes. If it hadn't been near the sabbath, the three crosses would have been left up for several days, and it would have taken that long for them to die. Finally, his side was pierced and blood and water flowed. It wasn't literally water, it was blood plasma. This liquid, closely resembling water, makes up the bulk of our blood. The fact that it separated meant that his heart stopped some time earlier.

The wounds inflicted during crucifiction is not what kills the person - it is asphyxiation. A person's arms are stretched up and out away from the body. When the cross is set upright, the victim must find a way to push him or herself up in order to breathe. Try this - have someone taller than you stand behind you and pull your arms up and out away from your body, almost as if they are trying to lift you by your biceps.
Jesus was confirmed dead before he was taken down from the cross, as opposed to devotional crucifictions are not done with the intent to kill. Read wikipedia for more information.

well, i am a filipino. and to tell you, filipinos do it as a way of honoring Jesus. they survive it because they dont stay too long crucified. it only lasts for a few minutes. and they have a certain number of years doing it. some people, when they turn 40 or 50, they stop and somebody else has to do it, be it a family member, whoever is willing to.

First off they are sinners. Christ is not. I don't believe them to be honest because when the Romans would crucify some one they died, period. There was no surviving it. Religion is what those people are practicing.
Religion will get you no where, but hell.
Only a Relationship with Jesus Christ will get you to Heaven.

LOL, Many gods have been said to be resurrected. We all know they haven't. Supersticious men and women from thousands of years ago can believe such things, but anyone in this day and age has no excuse, except willing ignorance, to continue to believe such crap.

My guess is that they didn't stay on the cross for 3 hours bleeding to death like Jesus did.
