Animals don't think like we do and can tell the difference between male and female and the thing they do is find a male or female to mate with. I've studied animals which people claim to be "homosexual" but I looked nope their straight. So like I said do you think animals can be gay and if they can why don't gay people use them as a mascot?

This is a difficult question... If animals can be homosexual, then what? The truth is, many animals DO have homosexual behavior, and there is much research to back it up.
Many animals, including birds, beetles, sheep, bats, dolphins, orangutans, monkey's, etc. have been researched, and there are some who seem to prefer homosexual activity.
For example, two male penguins at New York's Central Park Zoo prefer the companionship of each other to the female penguins... This includes intercourse. For more on this and other research, check out the article in National Geographic that was published last summer. I've included the link below.
Wikipedia also has compiled a page which list all animals where there is DOCUMENTED evidence of homosexual behavior. I've included the link to that page below as well.

There are many more sites dedicated to this topic; all you have to do is google the term "homosexuality in animals." I hope this helps.

1. Why are you so obsessed with gay people?
2. Animals can tell the difference between male and female. If not, you contradicted yourself when you claim to know that they are straight. If they couldn't tell the difference, they couldn't be straight either. They would screw other animals at random, without regard to gender.
3. You've studied sh*t. Dispassionate, non-moronic evaluation of the evidence (obviously beyond you) finds evidence of homosexuality in every complex species that has been examined. "But I looked nope their [sic] straight." THAT was funny!!
4. Either come out and get a dick stuck in you or stop your unhealthy fascination with homosexuality.
5. Stop being boring.

Animals use sexual behavior as a form of dominance and many mammals will mount others of the same gender to show they are stronger, high in social status, etc.

As a whole most mammmals, with humans, some other primates and dolphins as exceptions, do not have sex for pleasure. So homosexuality as we think of it isn't really an issue.

I'm getting the feeling from the wording of your question however, that you are trying to deny the physical possibilities of homosexuality and are trying to make a point that it is an "un-natural" thing to do.

Does it honestly matter how someone else chooses to live their life? Are you so insecure in yourself that you need everyone else to agree with you in order for you to feel good about yourself?

Um, because they are. I have HAD gay pigeons. I didn't see you there! Where are you looking? These pigeons had lots of opportunity to "go straight".

I also worked with a pair of gay Bald Eagles. Yes, there were females to choose from. Except I didn't see their comatriots screaming at them and attacking them because they were gay.

Sorry, sir , but you are ignorant.

As for the chick who states that animals don't mate for pleasure, you obviously have not been around rosering parakeets, pigeons, eagles, wolves, monkeys, bonobos, etc . . . those are just the ones I have personally observed. Mating is NOT solely for reproduction, it's an act of bonding, bringing the pair, or community, closer together.

Since being gay has been PROVEN to be rooted in genes, then yes, animals can be homosexual.
As for mascots, unless we're talking about gay sports teams, there's no reason for mascots.

It is established fact....sorry, but you are ignorant....a percentage of most species of animals, mostly mammals, which includes humans, will exhibit some homosexual behaviour. Only human animals put value judgement on it of course.

I don't know what the hell you mean by mascots.

There's lots of animal species with homosexuality. Read the links below.

The evidence doesn't lie. This proves homosexuality was by design and purpose. It shows the bible to be a lie once again.

Sounds pretty gay to me. Or maybe it's just penguins that get all the gay press.

Yeah, just read some biology books and you will see. Many animals are homosexual from time to time... Look at the Bonobos - kind of monkey... doing it all the time regardless of sex of partner.
Do some research, dude.

There are gay animals. National geographic has film of lesbian monkeys. Animals minds can evolve/warp just as ours can. Some behave like humans in ways, because we are just animals.
