Definitely. I call these "housekeeping prayers". I used to feel guilty, because they weren't really serious--just little things I needed help with right away.
Then the Lord spoke to my heart, "I'm just happy to spend some time with you--go ahead". And my housekeeping prayers get answered most of the time.

I pray about twenty five times a day, not always the same prayer though. I enjoy spending time with God, and that is the most important thing about prayer. My prayers are usually giving thanks and telling God that I love Him.

No, I talk to God. I repent with out repeating a written prayer by someone else.
To talk to God is to pray.

Prayer is superstition. I guarantee you that if you pray for something that science says is impossible, it won't happen. Iron clad guarantee.
Why don't you do your job, and earn your wage instead of mumbling chants to your mythical god?

Yes. One of those little things I do to get me through the day. It's done mentally...and it's so routine for me that I didn't even realize I still did it until you asked this question.

Yes. Sometimes I find myself mumbling "C'mon asteroid, c'mon asteroid, c'mon asteroid" until the office workers yell at me to finish cleaning the waste paper and get out.
