My 2year old male dog has started "marking"inside the house...how can i get him to stop?

I adopted a neutered male terrier 4 years ago and already had another dog (female) at the time. My new dog, although well-housebroken, marked his territory several times (to my horror) after I first got him.

I waiting for the answer, too, because my dog is neutered and the marking hasn't stopped. He'll never do it in front of me either so it makes it all the more difficult to discipline.
