Yes! That amont of caffeine is not good for anyone, much less a 6 year old whose body can't metabolise it!

Yes, it is. She's probably really, really addicted now.

I'm not sure if it can affect her growth, but caffeine can disrupt her sleeping patterns and make her dehydrated, which CAN affect her growth and her performance in school. She needs to cut back or stop.

If she gets off the caffeine, she's probably going to have flu-like symptoms for a few days. Make sure she drinks lots of water.

And that doesn't take into account how much sugar is in those things.

I've always heard that caffeine consumption in children can stunt their growth. However, this website seems to indicate that it is a myth:

There is also information on this website:

Like anything else though, too much caffeine is likely not to be good for you. It is suspected to cause headaches, nervousness and sleeplessness.

You may want to consider encouraging your sister to develop healthy behaviors and teach her to drink more water, milk and juices - beverages which have a great deal more health value than red bull.

You also may want to be concerned about her sugar intake. Juvenile diabetes has been linked to an increase in sugar intake among children.

Yes, that amount of sugar and caffeine is definitely no good for a six year old. I know adults who got used to drinking energy drinks and had withdrawals when they didnt have their fix. They can cause headaches, lack of energy, restlessness and irritability.

Call children's services! UH- YES that is bad! I hope your parents aren't allowing this. What in the world would a 6 year old need that much caffeine for?

Yeah, it is. Those are meant to be drink as an energy drink. When you consume too much of it, you will become addicted to it. This is because of the substances containing in redbull. You'd better take her to see doctor.

I don't think a 6 year old should be drink that stuff at all. Children already have too much energy and that stuff will make them hyperactive.
