there is no right or wrong answer to this and i think only you can answer this question. the length of time you should wait will depend on your personal feelings and emotions, and also depend on if and when you meet someone new. it is entirely up to you and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
i will say this though...........i was in a relationship for 3 1/2 years and when it ended i was heartbroken, but i met this really great guy 3 months after and now we are together and im really happy. some people will say i didnt wait long enough but i felt like i was ready to move on and it felt right to me, and thats all that matters

It's all about when you feel ready to move on. As I don't know you're circumstances it's hard to give proper advice. Follow your instincts about whether or not the time and the person are right for you. No one can make those decisions for you, but I do understand that there can be other ppls feelings to consider at times.

When you feel you're ready. I was with a guy for 8 yrs. I started dating about a year after we broke up. It's been 3yrs now and I just now feel ready to be in a serious relationship.

There is no answer to this question.
Like the previous answer: only you will know.
Take your time, hold your chin up, have courage and just talk to people. Don't be afraid of someone flirting with you, even if you don't feel it's going somewhere or they aren't really your cup of tea, it's all good practice and eventually, it will click with someone somewhere.. Just don't force the issue. Go gently.
Peace.

3 years ago, I split with someone after 7 years, I met an older women who told me give myself two years at least before trying too settle down with anybody, and she was completely right, so my advise too you, spend the next two years being single, go out have fun, when the time is right, you will know!!!!

there is no time limit, you silly. Only when you feel ready to meet someone new and accept them in your life, then you should star dating.
Good luck though, you'll know when it's time.

That question can only be answered by one person and that is yourself-you will know when the time is ready.
