but the older i get the darker it gets and i don't like it...what is the best way to remove it without it growing back thicker and stiffer..thank you...

I have dark hair above my lip as well. I'd like to have all my hair removed by laser but I don't have that kind of money right now! Waxing hurts my legs, so I'm not going to do that! & shaving would make it grow even more & be darker & more coarse. What I recommend for the time being is bleaching it. That's what I've always done. It makes it A LOT less noticable. I use Sally Hansen's brand. I use it every few weeks & the little bottle lasts on & on & on because you only need a wee bit each time you need to apply. You can buy this at Wal-Mart by the way!

funny thing is.. i just told my gf aboout hers and how it is getting more obvious. she got this cream hair remover, painless i guess and not permanent. waxing lasts longer but i know there is a permanent laser/electro treatment available for it but pretty steep prices...

a freind of mine has the same kind of condition.. she tried waxing it but then it continued to grow again.. so i think waxing is not an answer

You can wax it. Or thread it. But the latter is extremely painful.

dont shave it. the best would be to bleach it but i guess you can wax it
