I have never been married and never felt the need...too far down on my life "To Do..." list!! It gets lonely a very small percentage of the time, the benefits (to me) far outweigh the few lonely times. I have travelled extensively, reached my career goal and, did everything in my life I wanted to accomplish and am extremely happy with my life. Of course, I have been called selfish by the 'unenlightened'! No, seriously, I never wanted to have a family and that's all my best friend ever wanted, so I think it is TOTALLY what you want out of life. And there is nothing wrong with being single!

I think living alone can be prefered by someone who is unable to trust any one in his life. It can happen if they think is all they need is friend and not a life partner(unless they live together and not married)

I will consider this kind of live with much less ups and downs as this person will not have as many as married person.

A woman is complete when she gives birth to a child(bringing a life to this world) and man is not too far behind
So if they dont experience this , i will definately say they are missing a lot than gaining. I cant see how they can be satisfied.

After rushing into two marriages and having kids, I would have preferred to be single much longer than I was. There is nothing wrong with being single-i don't understand the need to have to be with someone.

Nothing wrong with staying single - in fact in the Western world, that is becoming more and more common, although those who are infected with religion are always encouraged to marry and breed so as to keep up the numbers. Sane people, however, realize it's solely their choice whether they want to marry or not.

I think that unless a person can really be by themselves, they can't really be in a relationship. A GOOD relationship is not about co-dependancy, but about synergy!

So no. There's nothing wrong with being single. There is something wrong with not being ABLE to be single.

To remain single is much better than risking the loss of many things! I believe we shouldn't commit ourselves to others unless we're ready emtionally, financially and socially! We already have issues in this life, so why making these issues more serious and destructive for ourselves and others?

I am divorced, but one thing is for sure. Everybody needs someone whether they need it for sexual reasons or to feel the need of being wanted around. It's natural for anyone onely to be part of the crowd. But its more appealing to be wanted and needed by someone special that makes them feel good about themselves. Yes, some people can be alone for the rest of their lives but still need human interaction to feel human and alive.

It will be big success if one does it.
It is hard for a person.
That is wrong that; it will be too late when you understood you cannot do alone in the life.

It's not typical, but it does happen, and yes I think certain types of people are happier alone.
