We had ours at a park overlooking the water on June 10, 2006. His parents made an arch out of bamboo and they covered it with flowers. We all wore flip flops, the girls wore knee-length dresses and the guys wore khakis and hawaiian shirts. We did not have an aisle runner, we just threw some flower petals down ahead of time and then there were more flower petals after the flower girls walked down the ailse. Our invitations and our programs had a palm tree on the front. We really didn't do a lot of decorating for the ceremony. For the reception we did beta fish in a vase for the centerpieces. For the gifts for the guests we had our names written on the backs of sanddollars along with a cute little poem attached to it and little gel candles with shells in them. You can find those on ebay and we got the sanddollars on ebay and just had someone write on them in calligraphy. You can check out the farmer's almanac online to see what kind of weather they're expecting on your wedding day. It is tricky having an outdoor ceremony, be careful of hurricane season, as it's expected to head more north this year and not hit us here in Florida as much. But there are no guarantees with the weather. We got lucky and had perfect weather. Make sure you have a back up plan, because I've seen it happen to friends and they had to scramble at the last minute to have an indoor ceremony. Good luck! Beach weddings are beautiful, but my opinion is that they should be a little more casual, like ours was.

Spoken from personal experience, try to find a boardwalk or pier you can have the ceremony on, rather than on the sand itself. Also, you may want to consider having a private ceremony at dawn - the sunrise makes for some amazing and memorable pictures.

the only way military could look suitable is that in case you blended military with yellows and whites in the bouquets. this could supply it form of like a 'sailor' look with the aid of fact this is going to likely be on the sea coast. or golds too. yet i think of in case you mixture military w/ silver .. it may look too wintery. I definitely have seen those mixtures at wintery weddings. in case you combine it with orange.. i think of it may be too very equivalent to a fall wedding ceremony. yet another selection could nicely be a extra lighter blue (perchance like a turqoise) for the bridesmaid dresses and you will have mild pinks and warm pinks and white in the bouquets. extra summer season mixtures: yellow, white, pink, mild blue, mint eco-friendly, turquoise the two way, you have a great variety of techniques and you will do a little incredibly super mixtures for an incredible summer season wedding ceremony! super dress with the aid of the way!
