Actually, in my opinion the funniest part of her question is that everybody who doesn't like America should 'go back to Arabia like George Bush said'.

The misunderstandings in her question are amazing. I think she does believe that being Christians and being American are the same thing, and thus the opposite of one is the opposite of the other.

She probably believes that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (which are both 'Arabia' to her) are really wars about Christianity. She's probably been told many times that God is on their side, and she probably presumes that anyone who has a funny skin colour, wears funny things on their head and speaks a funny language is anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-Bush and unaware that Jesus died for their very sins.

She is probably of the mentality of the type of person who started desecrating Hindu temples after 9/11 - using the sophisticated argument (which I actually heard an American say once) that 'a r*ghead is a r*ghead'.

Christ was a jew in all senses. I could almost hear this girls young squeeky voice as I read her comment. She does indeed have some learning to do, or shes going to be impaled on the sharp end of reality one day. Bleeding on the earth she will look down in horror as she realizes, with the reflection of her face staring back from the fast congealing lifeforce below, that the world is not what she thought. This book her mommy and daddy so enchanted her with was pure deceit, it did nothing to save her. She will fall forward and the blood will pool around her left eye, giving her a blurry half and half rose image of the sun setting on her life.

Not even close. He was born in Bethlehem in the Middle East and probably considered himself a member of that nation . . . also, even if he had come to North America, which I don't think he did, he would not have considered himself an "American" since the continents had not been named at that time. The countries of Mexico, United States, and Canada did not exist.

Although Jesus spent many years in America, he retained His Bolivian nationality and hence was not really an American. You could tell because He spoke with a bit of a funny accent the way all foreigners do.

Is this a serious question? Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem (according to the bible). Jesus (pronounced Hey - Zeus) is also a name in the Spanish language so, maybe there is an American Jesus.

he could have been american, but the question is, was he a republican or democrat?

he taught turning the other cheek and being meak - democrat

however, he was a hebrew, and in ancient times the jewish people were always at war and condoned the smiting of their enemies in the name of God - most definatly republican

from this i can only conclude that Jesus would probably vote for ralph nader

I think Jesus, as He is now, is above having a nationality. I expect he blesses whoever follows him, which includes an amount of Americans, but I don't think that girl was right in assuming that it excludes other people in this world. Best wishes.
