Looked at them all pretty much, but the point is if you are a good person and lead a good life, why do you need any of them? I'm a smart enough guy to know right and wrong, I just use common sense, reason and respect for others. Why do I need a religion, any religion to tell me that?

Well, the only thing that defines an atheist is a non-belief in god. Therefore, we're going to see any religion, with or without a church, that believes in a higher power as delusional.
Christianity and Islam are the most threatening to our lives. If religions were all practiced behind closed doors, I don't think most atheists would really care who believed what. Unfortunately, evangelical religions try to push their morals and value systems into our politics, schools, and personal lives. The worst offender of this in the U.S. is Christianity right now, so it makes sense it is the most attacked.

Atheists generally take their position based on the evidence arsing from a rational analysis of the real world the evidence is overwhelming that God (whichever one you like) does not exist. It is certainly true that there are less wacko religions than Christianity and Islam but they all fail the 'is there any credible evidence God exists' test.

Islam and Christianity are the only ones that pose a threat to the world right now. The others are mostly benign, even though they are equally false.

Name one.
I guarantee that they all have one thing in common; they worship an imaginary sky-pixie.
And that is what Atheists reject after all. The worship of something that cannot exist in reality.
The fact that christianity and islam are warlike and belligerent simply serves to illustrate how hypocritical they are.

Why not just Go to the source of Power and Spirit - Instead of needing to go to a building...nor need to just trust another person's findings as your only source of Growth...

These are the two largest and most militant, considering evangelism and growth to be their major function. Worthy enemies indeed!
