What is the best way to eat a Mango, specifically how do you peel it?

Ahhh...one of my favorite fruits! Take a sharp knift and while holding the mango slit the mango lengthwise. There is a large seed in the middle so you angle the knife upward a bit to slice over the top of the seed but as close to it as you can. Continue slicing until the mango is cut in half with the contained in one of the halves. Take the half without the seed and with the tip of your knife, dice the fruit (make cuts across it lengthwise and and crosswise). Now push the bottom of the peel upward in the center and so the half becomes convex. The fruit will appear in chucks that can easily be cut or eaten off. Good luck!

depends on type of mango. if u get the small type, my mom says theyre good to mash up while still whole, then take off the top, and suck up the juice inside! if that's too messy for u, then just cut the mango up in long slices, and scrape the meat off the peel with ur teeth. sounds messy but its gooooddd....

Cut it in half, running your knife very close to the flat seed inside. Then on the half w/o hte seed, score the flesh into cubes; do not poke thru skin. Then flip the skin up, making the cubes stick up. You can either cut them off or eat them out of hand. Do that to the other side, too, and just trim the bit of fruit left from the seed.

just use a knife and peel of the skin in strips....it'll be easy cuz mangos r kinda soft so ur knife will just glide and the skin will be off!!
