For my nursery I found a Precious Moments border that had girl and boy angels on clouds. I painted the bottom half of my wall a purple to match the bottom part of the border, then the top half and ceiling a blue to match the top part of the border. I put the border along the middle of the wall and painted white clouds over the ceiling and top half of the wall. I receive many complements on the room and have had several friends "steal" my idea for their nursery.

i would buy plain wall paper asnd then choose a colour for boy or girl but one colour at bottom then another at the top then a nice border or even a daydo rail would look even better pick some lovley curtains with tie backs to match the cot doent matter if not and a lovley light shade i would then buy some nice fairy lights ive got these in my daughters room and they are stunning heart lights thats if your having a girl but u can also buy light for boys theres loads stuff you can buy for the nursey just be creative if youve got a rocking chair in there or any kind of chair how about buying some throw on cushions i have pink and purple fluffy ones for my children they really set the room of then put some shelves up and had a few pritty toys and that to it but just dont overcrowd the shelf hope this gives you some ideas good luck

I went with the barnyard theme from kidsline. I got all the stuff at Burlington Coat. The package came with valance, quilt, bumper, fitted sheet, diaper stacker, and dust ruffle. Then I bought the wall hangings, nightlight, switch plate, and pillows separate. I didn't buy the mobile though it was very plain and expensive (I got the ocean wonders one instead). My baby girl loves to look at the patterns on the bumper and watch the mobile. I picked this theme before I knew she was a girl. And I painted the walls a bone white with white trim. It looks great! Then that way when they get older you can help them learn the animals too!!

Depends if it's a boy or a girl. If you're not wanting a particuliar character theme (like disney or whatnot), do what i did, and look on potterybarn.com or ikea for the cutest ideas without the character. These rooms are easier to transform once the child is older or has another sibling.

I did not know what I was having and went with a neutral theme. I did the room in a taupe color. Then I put up a chair rail and underneath it I alternated the taupe and a darker color of brown in stripes. I hung pics of giraffes and bought giraffe stuffed animals to put on shelves. Hope that helps.

Well..we did bumble bees and have gotten a LOT of compliments on it. It's also neutral-gendered, so that's nice. They have the cutest bumble bee stuff at babies r us...but you have to look for it. They don't have it sitting with the rest of the bedding.

I've also heard of lady bugs...too cute. What I would suggest is find the bedding that you like, then go from there.

Congrats on your pregnancy!! Here's hoping you have an easy one! Best of luck.
