Match making is always risky business. Did you ask her before you hooked them up? I am not clear on that.
Anyhow…yes, she may be angry with your right now. But believe me, she is really hurting inside and I am sure any self-confidence she had was shattered by his rejection. It is so hard being an overweight woman in this society [I know first hand]. It is possible that he truly liked her, but he may have been immature and did not want to date an overweight women due to being harassed by his friends…..who knows….
Just be there for her and let her know you are sorry. Blood is thicker than water and she is going to come around again it just may take some time.
In the mean time…….don‘t fix up anymore people! ;) ;)

I don't think it's your fault. You can not or should not take responsibility for his actions. He behaved badly, and if any friendship is in jeopardy, I hope it would be his and yours. As for your cousin, she's understandably hurt. But if she's mad at you, her anger is clearly mis-directed. I'd give her time to calm down. This kind of rejection is very painful. But it's not your fault.

First it was not your fault that he dumped her. If you still want to ask for forgivness from you family simply say "SORRY, I wont interfere in others' matters again. I was just trying to make them happy." Your family loves you too much to not to forgive you. Good Luck. I hope this works. God Bless.

Well she obviously wasnt honest with him about her appearances. That is not your fault. She shouldnt be mad at you, you made an introduction 3 months ago, what happened after that was up to her and him.

The fact that it didn't work out is not your fault. No need to beat yourself up.
You can't 'fix' him if he is being a goofus.
She is better off without that kind of 'tude' in her life.

The only rhing you can do is sicerely apologize to her. She may be hurt now, but eventually she'll realize it is not your fault is your guy friend is more shallow than you thought him to be.

Why are you sorry.....you are not responsible for your friends bad manners. You've already told her you're sorry....she just needs to be reasonable and stop blaming you.
