Ok I don't know much of what's going on, but it seems that the media is talking bad about lebanon and not Israel. From what I understand, 2 israel sodliers crossed the border and were captured in lebanese soil, so does that give israel the right to attack? I mean if 2 canadian soldiers crossed into US soil and we captured them, would canada have the right to attack us? I guess we are just supporting the lesser of 2 evils.

The US media is under jewish influence and so all you will hear in the US is how great Israel is and how it is the innocent victim of unprovoked Arab attacks, but the reality is just about the reverse of that. Most Americans have no knowledge of Middle East history and events going back more than about two weeks, yet the real cause of the problem can be traced back to 1917 at least. The Israelis are a very racist, genocidal and aggressive country and have done everything they can do to cause suffering to the Palestinians. The Israeli position always has been to wipe out the Arabs and it has no intentions of living in peace with anybody. This is why the Israelis are so eager to bombard Lebanon at the slightest excuse. What the Israelis call "self defense" when applied to them against others they will call "terrorism" when applied by others against them. It is a blatant hypocrisy and a lie which Americans are all too ready to accept.

It makes no sense at all to invade and bomb a country (calling it self defense) if two of your soldiers were captured. Following this logic, Arab nations would be equally justified in bombing and attacking Israel (calling it self defense) since there are many captive Palestinians sitting in Israeli jails.

Israel is an occupier of Arab lands, has violated or ignored countless UN resolutions, has sought to take even more Arab land, is seeking to destroy the palestinian economy, and in general acts about as bad as the Nazis ever did. Their "Iron Wall" mentality will only serve to inflame the hatreds against them, the seeds of which were sown by the jews themselves from the 1920s all the way through 1948 and up to today.

Support the Israelis. Let them destroy Hezbollah's ability to kill innocent civilians. They never attack until they are attacked first. They are just trying to keep their people safe from terrorist attacks by Hezbollah and Hamas. It always amazes me how many ignorant people there are in the world. Israel does not deliberately target civilians. Unfortunately Hezbollah often hides their weapons near civilian installations and thus civilians can accidentally be struck. Hezbollah and Hamas attack civilian targets almost exclusively. They are trying to murder innocent civilians on a daily basis and not military targets. How is that so difficult to understand?

Misinformed Badly

The Lebanese were ordered by the UN to remove Hezbollah from Israels border
In three years they did nothing and failed to even ask for help
Instead they watched as Hezbollah fired 1000 rockets a year into Israel and armed themselves for a war with Israel

Then they waited for the right moment and went into Israel and killed 8 soldiers and captured 2 others and took them back to Lebanon

Now they are using the Lebanese as a human shield to hide behind

Giving Israel two bad choices
Stand and take the attacks and do nothing
Or kill innocent Lebanese to get at the Attackers

There are no GOOD guys in this war

This war is about two cultures with no room for negotiating with each other
One will live the other will die
Time will tell which is which

I would like to answer your question from a different because giving my views on how wrong Isreal is will be a drop in the ocean of the same type of answers . KEEP THE FOLLOW IN MIND .. Jewish Isreal rules the world. They even rule America and the world thinks vice versa. They will invade ( using american puppets) any country they want for self benefit and nobody can stop them. Not even the UN.
911 bombing was done by the american CIA and Isreal, using Arab Militants as a cover up. This was then used as an excuse to invade Afgan(for oil pipe lines) and Iraq for oil. PLEASE STUDY AMERICA'S FOREIGN POLICY.

You cannot rely on other people to educate you on this. As you can see by the widely varied (and at times completely false and delusional) responses to your questions, it's much more complicated than a few paragraphs can answer. In many cases with an issue such as this, people choose to see what they want (meaning information that suits the views and predjudices that they already have), rather than what is really there. For example, the two Israeli soldiers were kidnapped on Israeli soil by Hezbollah terrorists. Hezbollah has publicly confirmed this themselves, although they do not see themselves as terrorists. You can see by reading the posts how this information easily changed. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I'm sorry to say someone has misinformed you. Hezbollah coordinated attacks -inside Israel- resulting in the capture of two Israeli soldiers. Everything else you said would be logical, but for that one basic flaw, which isn't your fault. There's a -ton- of misinformation out there unfortunately.

The way I look at your question is your mainly asking why this is going on and why Israel is being supported instead of Lebanon. Mainly, Hezbollah are literally a bunch guerrillas terrorists of which are very evil and Israel has every right to defend themselves. They are just like the Muslum radicals.

From what you say, it is pretty clear that the media you are exposed to is biased! While it may be true that two soldiers have been kidnapped, it does not give Israel the right to attack the whole country! Kidnapping is so common these days, especially political, as we have seen in recent years. What do you think Americans have done in capturing and detaining so many prisoners of war, mostly innocents, in Cuba, without any trial for so many years? Basically, it was in fact state-sponsored kidnapping!
Anyway, in the present conflict, Israel is a culprit with hands soaked in blood of the innocent people killed by them in their attack on Lebanon, totally disproportionate to the basic issue viz: kidnapping of two soldiers. They should have given time and space for diplomacy to solve the problem. Instead, they have unleashed a reign of terror in the name of fighting terrorism. What an irony!
