Abso-freakin-lutely. No female priests, pope, cardinals, bishops. Everything is always blamed on women (Eve did not hold a gun to Adams head to eat the stupid apple). It's the father, son, and holy spirit (can't even have a woman in the trinity, they put in a ghost before a female!) Unless you are the freakin virgin mary, you don't count.

Catholics know that priests, bishops, and popes are male only, because Jesus never chose any female apostles, and the apostles never chose any female successors or priests.
This is because, in both the faith community, and at Catholic worship services, the priest, in a very special way, represents Jesus Christ, the central figure in every Catholic mass, who is in fact, a perfect, sinless man, enthroned (at this very moment) at the right hand of his father in heaven.
It's not just a matter of inclusion or exclusion.
Very simply, Jesus is not a woman, so why would we select a female figure to represent him?
The underlying theological principles of Christ's redemptive act also tend to break down when you blur the sexual roles.
For example, the woman Eve was the first to sin, even though God didn't charge her with the primary responsibilty for it.
When it came time for the atonement, the woman Mary was the first to arrive on the world scene, consent to carry the redeemer in her womb, then nurture and raise him, serving to help, or cooperate, in righting the wrong that was committed by Eve, the first woman.
Since the man, Adam was charged with the main responsibility for the first sin, Jesus, a man, took on the responsibility for the atonement, thereby righting the wrong committed by the first man.
According to God's law, Mary couldn't have done Jesus' job, and Jesus couldn't have done Mary's job. But in the end, the "scales" of God's justice were balanced, and our redemption was certainly accomplished.
When God, in his justice and mercy, ordains these types of things, we need to be very careful when we arbitrarily choose to ignore the significant details of arrangements that he, in his perfect wisdom, had in mind before the creation of the world, especially if all we're trying to do is be politically correct.
God created man and woman to work together, for his greater glory.
Each has a complementary role that is absolutely critical to God's plan for humanity.
Men can't have babies. Women can't be priests.
That's just the way it is.
If you don't like it, take it up with the boss. HE's listening!

Why hasn't there been a female US president? Why don't you concern yourself with that?
Why do you choose to pick on Catholics? Have we done something to you to offend you in some way?
I would be more concerned about the difference of wages between men and women in your own country before picking on a religion I am sure you have no part of. If you did you wouldn't have asked such a silly question.
And Andrew W, why don't you find ANY established Christian church that isn't against gays in some way? Hmm? It's not just Catholics.
