I am going to a party in about 2 weeks at a close friends house but, I won't know a lot of people there and I am worried of how they might judge me. Most people at the party are in university or college while I am married and still completing my high school but we are all the same age. I don't care what they think about me, but how should I defend myself if anyone puts me down? Because even people I know look down upon me since I married young and I just stopped talking to them (due to other reasons as well.) Please be respectful in your answers because nobody knows my current situation.

You do care. Or this would not be bothering you!
I figure you're in your early 20's.. and someone, be it yourself, an ex-teacher, a parent, the girl next door.. put you down in such a hard-hearted way at one stage that you've never picked yourself up off that particular floor since. Perhaps because you got pregnant and dropped out of school? Now, ask yourself, how much harder is it to go BACK to school when all those your age have left?
You are a brave woman, tell them you chose to bring up your baby, you didn't want anyone else doing that job - if it comes up, which it won't! Parties are meant to be fun!! You're not supposed to get stressed, as a guest, 2 weeks beforehand!!
Whatever you do, go! Don't chicken out. Smile and look like you're loving life, be as open as you can be. I fear you're a little depressed, maybe you can try and bolster your self-esteem in general too, not through the party, but in all area's of your life. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
And treat yourself to a snipe of champagne when you're getting ready to go to the party, a treat to make you feel good about yourself, and if champagne is too expensive, sparkling wine/cava isn't!
Good luck with everything

I would just keep the conversation on other things like a new band that is out you like
or maybe ask someone where they got there outfit
avoid gossiping about someone else

If someone asks about your school or husband tell them it is going well and everything is great

tell them you are excited to get you diploma so you can start on some college classes

One thing I know for sure people like to talk about themselves so ask about how they are what they are doing keep the conversation about them

Ok, you say you don't care what they think, but then turn around and want to defend yourself. If the person throwing the party is truly your friend, I doubt anyone is going to put you down, at least to your face. You made your choice in life and they made theirs.
