Eternity?.......?

Question

How can one really "grasp" (at the least) eternity? How can "eternal" punishment or "eternal" reward be? I mean, just thinking about it will make one crazy, does it? (like me!) How can you imagine such, such.. "situation"?

We cannot grasp it, but we need to think of it as all time to follow in a different realm of time and space.
The spiritual dimension does exist.
Because we are separated by God by our sin, we have to choose who we serve in this lifetime - it gives us the promise of an abundant life now and the promise of an eternal life in glory with God. People will deny this without faith - but when I trusted God he changed my heart, and all pieces fit together for my purpose and the promise of eternal that he gives.
Read the Gospel of John or "The Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren. They explain these things clearly.

I have tried to imagine eternity myself and felt there same way..

I can only conclude as a human, is to think of eternity as time standing still.

You cannot destroy matter..such as our bodies..

example: you smoke a cigeratte..it turns to ashes and smoke and part is retained in our bodies..

In the old days they would bury you in caves or earth..if earth you were eaten by the bugs the bugs eaten by birds you then became protein for the bird to survive. ( in a sense you became a bird or bear ect. or you became nourishment for flowers, trees.

your body will exist in one form or other for eternity.

what links us to the earth is our flesh

what links us to the animal world is our sex

what links us to the universe is our brain and mind,[ also these are separate an animal does not have a mind like ours..]
in our brain/mind there are electrical explosions all the time, these minute electrical explosions are an energy force as the sun..aways exploding.

I believe the hell Jesus is talking about, is that when we die we return as a energy field to a place as the sun...only we still have a spirit and a mind...I believe you will not burn as we do, rather it will always be hot and exploding..and you will remember your blessings..offered to you by the most high God..

To those who attained the right they are spirit and can transform into humans..and relive he past and be with your loved ones once on earth go into the future ect. Heaven and earth are yours for eternity..

1. work for the good of others and things.

2. practice and do truth for good

3. extend righteousness in your contact with others

the above are for eternal judgement... and all are welcome in any race, religion, no religion or sexual orientation. [ it is all spiritual orientation ]

all who practice and do the above are welcome into the kingdom/government of God

Eternal punishment:
It is and it isn't.
At the last judgement (about 3000 something) the damned will the thrown into the lake of fire and die.
This death is forever - eternal

Eternal reward:
100 Trillion (100,000,000,000,000) years from now I will be here and it will seem only as if I been here a week or so. The next 100 Trillion years we even be more fun and then there's the next and the next and….

It's easy.
Just imagine nothing but GOD ALMIGHTY, befor HE Created anything. HE always was, always is. That's Eternity.
No space, no atom's or molecule's, no planet's or star's etc., nothing but GOD.
Eternity is Spiritual.
Infinity is in the Physical Realm, it's harder to Imagine.
When your thought's run wild on these thing's, change your thought's, the Devil can play some trick's on you through your mind, take's a while to come out of some of them, better not to think too much on some thing's. Hope this helps.

What happens to you after your body expires is called eternity (forever).Don't let it make you crazy that's what satin wants to happen to you.Just ask Jesus to reveil to you the answer to those question and he is faithful he will let you know the truth.Heaven and hell is real and is something we should prepare for in the now.i read a book called 23 mins in Hell it was worse than the scariest movie i have ever seen.I'm not spending eternity in hell and i don't want anyone to

You can't imagine infinity directly, you can only comprehend it via analogy.
