Bases on previous answers to my questions and advice from therapists, I have problems in finding any motivation, interests, self esteem, and self identity.

Question is how do I find them. I've written journals, talked about my issues with therapists, read books on it and on the net, nothing seems to help. There are things i do, like being on the net, cleaning, playing video games, hiking and such .. but i don't enjoy them .. more of an escape til it's time to go to sleep. Problem could be not fully being able to articulate my situation, which explains i guess the number of misdiagnosis i get off-online. I get i don't let go of the past cause i sense it's all i have, i get that i am mostly schizoid and don't have the emotional bonds to gain attachments to people nor the desires of the norms of society (driving, church, community service, parties, clubs, etc). Not suicidal, though does have an ideation for it. Not sure what help is there, given poor history in groups too.

I can understand how you must be feeling. Remember there are millions who are much worse than you and they have the motivation to carry on. Yesterday I saw this handicapped guy on a wheelchair. He cant even take a pencil with his own hands, he cant talk, cant eat with a spoon, needs a feeding tube. He cant write, so he needs a laptop. Guess what? He is studying at my university. I heard that he is going to graduate soon. I ask myself whats wrong with me. Maybe you should start by seeing how lucky you are for being what you are. Go to places where you know people suffer more than you do (considering your background) and hopefully you can find self-motivation.

Need more details to understand your problem. Self esteem increases by doing things which are difficult to do. Motivation to do that has to come from within. Are you stricken by something tragic in your past which you are unable to shake off?

You can increase your self esteem by Auto suggestion and hypnosis.

Many people like to indulge in self pity. Do not pity yourself. In this age physically and mentally challenged individuals are achieving so much. What is wrong with you? Buck up, you can do it. Do it now. Put your desire into a plan and act on your plan.

You must think that you are good and believe it.

I had the same problem untill I found what worked for me. All I did was find something that made me feel happy, something I enjoied doing, somehting that made me fell as if I belong. For me...that was finding a religion that wasn't worshiped by the masses, for others it might be building models, or taking pictures. Just find something, a "hobby" if you will, that suits you. Then, look for others whom enjoy that "hobby" to the extent as you do. Good luck to you

Start a hobby that you can be proud of. Help homeless shelters, community service, play guitar, draw a picture, babysit.. get a fulfilling job.. something.
