We are certainly supposed to be. Problem is discord has entered in. Many claim each in his own way but this will not work in life or in music. More like jazz. We can all be different but it must be a variation on the same theme.
You are close - we are the music makers, along with the morning stars.

Right now humanity is totally discordant. The hounds of war sound like a Wagnerian Opera and the moans of the bereaved, the dying, and the mangled victims are the undertones, a Casals cello , deep and haunting.
The melody won't come back until there is at least a semblance of peace!

Science says we all are human being living on a planet also-called Earth. Not "vibrating strings".
- according to those who believe in God, humankind may be like God's symphony;
- according to those who don't believe in God, humankind is humankind.

Ephesians 2:10 says we are His "workmanship", the original word being "poema" meaning masterpiece. What we have chosen to do with His masterpiece is often times less then harmonious, but occasionally symphonic.

Considering all the pain and suffering in the world, there's some sour notes being hit. Mayge god ought to tune his instrument.
