no. its just the same as having 2 drinks of the same whisky. might alter the taste

Hell no. You can mix several brands of whiskey, and you'll be fine. It's when you start mixing different types of alcohol together, is where you get into trouble. For example, you don't want to mix
Beer, Tequila, and Wine, together, that will just make you sick.
Have fun....get as drunk as you want........
But don't drink and drive.....Because I want to answer your question

Yes and no.
No, if you intend to drink it. You can mix almost any spirits together and not be in any danger, unless you drink to the point of alcohol poisoning.
Yes, if you intend to pour it on yourself and set it on fire. But as that would be surprisingly silly, I think you should be fine.
