Can a hemorrhoid look like a long flap of puffy pink skin running from the anal cavity to almost the vaginal hole. I have tried looking at pictures but nothing looks like what I have. It is painful to touch/wipe but no itching. I am using preperation H (2nd day), tucks moist wipes, stool softner and fiber pills. I just want to make sure I am trying to cure a hemorrhoid.

It does sound like hemmorhoidal tissue. See your Doctor ESPECIALLY if it starts bleeding. Do NOT use Prep H if it is bleeding!!!

Hemorrhoids are dilated veins.. but CAN manifest as pink projections... however I dont think that what you have is a hemorrhoid... sounds more like a rectal prolapse.
Can't help you too much without a proper history... you have to tell your age, gender, if female how many kids & pregnancies and type of deliveries, when it started, how big was it when it started, over what duration of time did it assume the size it is now.... etc.
Has any of the things you have done so far improved the condition? It is exceptionally difficult to provide an accurate diafgnosis without actually taking a complete history and properly examining you.
The things you mentioned help treat hemorrhoids, but definitive cure involves surgery -- you will have to see your doc. Also, if it is a prolapse - you might need surgery.
Anyway, for both, stool softeners and adequate fibre are essential adjuncts. You could, in addition do the following: Avoid straining while passing stools, or any form of increase in intraabdominal pressure - ie coughing, sneezing, carrying weights, strenuous activity etc are all to be avoided. If it does not improve with these, or, in any case, please do see your doc --you have provided insufficent data for an accurate diagnosis -- there are other rare and more severe conditions that could cause what you describe besides hemorrhoids or prolapse = for which an early diagnosis would be benefcial....better safe than sorry..

It may be either a fissure, which is a tear of the lining of the anus or a hemmorrhoid. Either way you are on the right treatment plan to get it healed up. Fissures are very painful and can cause severe pain immediatly after a bowel movement which can last for a few hours. Hemmorrhoids can bleed with bowel movements and are often itchy . The best treatment for either case is fiber pills 1-2 twice a day, stool softeners 2-3 twice a day both with at least 2 full glasses of water. Increase your fluid and dietary fiber intake, And you should see results and feel better in 5-7 days. Tucks are OK. Prep H tends to burn if you are having any bleeding so I wouldn't bother with that. Been right where you are- it's a literal pain in the ***! Hope you feel better soon!

I developed hemorrhoids about 3 years ago because of the long hours spent working in my cubicle. My doctor tried to do everything in her power to help me, but unfortunately the medication didn't work. Surgery was out of the question! At that point, I was helpless, embarrassed and with almost no social life, so I've decided to try something else.

I bought this book on how to get rid of hemorrhoids naturally, "Hemorrhoids No More" by Jessica Wright, doctor and independent remedy researcher ( available in electronic format + video here: http://www.hemorrhoidnomore.link ). After reading the book and taking action in 48 hours the pain, irritation, itching and bleeding was gone. To my surprise I was able to permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally.

We need to stop paying each month good money on drugs, creams and oils. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants us to do! They want to milk money from us each month. Good luck!

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/qSBfJ
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Hemorrhoids surround the anus. I have never heard of one extending over the perineum that way. They are essentialy masses of dilated blood vessels and you describe this as pink. See a doctor, as I cannot guess. An anal fistula might be a possibility.
