Adam and eves mistake was judgment.
Think about it.
The knowledge of good and evil is a metafore for judgment.
What you are calling Adam and Eve's sin in Eden was only a simple mistake. They started to see some parts of Gods creation as being better or worse than others there by disregarding the truth that everything is a part of God. By doing this they began to see some parts of God as preferable to others. By doing this they plced themselves above God rather than a part of Her?
Love and blessings.

Bill Johnson writes a book called "When Heaven Invades Earth" that addresses this very question. He is probably the most profound writer/speaker I've ever read/heard. Anyway, in essence, he states that everything that IS in heaven can be brought into the natural realm. Since healing exists in heaven, it can be brought to the natural. And so on. I think this is more of what Jesus is saying in this prayer.

From a Reincarnationist view the verse "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" is clearly a reference to karma. Collectively, all the natural laws are "the will of God" -- God as the cosmos -- including science, physics, karma. This is an intelligent but non-judgmental law, simply cause and effect, action and reaction, which sets the balance and teaches wisdom through experience.

Jesus was talking about praying for God's will to be done in and through the lives of his disciples here on earth. The "secret" to eternal life is putting one's trust in Jesus Christ and being regenerated by the Holy Spirit so that one can truly know God.
John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

well gods original plan was for adam and eve to live forever upon earth, so in the lords prayer when jesus prays, let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, i believe that means we will once again live in an earthly paradise, but of course no one knows when that will be. god bless

In this part of the Lord's Prayer we ask that God's kingdom work be done here on earth to it's fullest. God's will is that all people will be saved.
Galations 1:3-5Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

We are here on earth to be tested... to see if we will do all that God commands...
God's will is done in Heaven... and we try to do His will on earth (as told to us by Prophets and the Holy Spirit) so that we can return to live with Him in Heaven.
