So my girl broke it off with me because her french ex-boyfriend showed back up in town.. She tells me that I treat her better then he does, and that she'd be happier with me.. but in the end she's going to go with him.. what am I not understanding?

she is confused. she jus took you cos she felt sad and lonely. If the guy goes away, the girl will find you again. So you should let her go so she won't break your heart twice. It is diffcult, but it is better now then next time. If you really like her, jus keep her somewhere special in your heart and go on with your life.

Some women just don't know what they want... they continue to sit there and tell people things that they just dont believe themselves..... its hard to understand. Some men are like that as well.
Don't get yourself down and out about this, there is a women out there that will love you and care for you the way that you should be cared and loved for... just because one women broke your heart doesnt mean that every women will do the same... treat every new relationship like its your last and watch how things turn out.

Yes women are confusing but that is because of all the crap we usually have to deal with when it comes to men.
Also if you are buying the stuff that she is telling you then you need to sit back and listen to it in third person. Which means that is a load of crap. Why leave something that you are happy with? Excusess just to make you feel better, is all.
Anyone would of known that.
Also there are plantly of other women out there. Take your time and find the one that is actually for you.

Maybe she doesn't want to be treated good and i guess she thinks that she can always come running back with you. Well he is french and some girls like those guys. But yes some women are naturally crazy.

Just a personal opinion, but I think many would agree: Women are often attracted by the macho-violent type of male, regardless of the nice guy they already have...
Take this as an advice next time and get over it.
Life goes on in English as well as in French (C'est la vie).
There's plenty of girls to do that to you again. It's the thrill that matters. Otherwise life would be meaningless, wouldn't it?
And by the way: Did women mentioned they have an extra "leg" to their chromosome? It just might be that..... :)

What you're not understanding is that you can do better!!! Why be with a girl who knows she's got the best and she purposely chooses to throw it away? That's not fair to you and in my opinion, it's trampy. Hun, you can do so much better. There are plenty of girls out there lookin for a guy who wants the same things they do. You just have to look in the right places. Don't let this girl hold you back because bigger and better things await you!

It can be the littlest thing, as irrelevant as it may seem to you, that can put a woman off a man, like for example the sound of his laugh or the way he eats. Normally its the one that treats her like crap that she goes for. If you have been too nice, and made it too easy for her to be with you, this usually puts a woman off. Act like you aint interested a bit, play a little hard to get.

Just because you treat her better doesn't make her have more feelings for you. Obviously she has strong feelings or love for him. Have you always felt the strongest about the apparent "best choice" girlfriend? Don't blame it on her being a woman - it goes both ways.
