is it true that some people will cut the head off a rattlesnake and bury it to keep bees from eating them and carrying the venom to the next person the bee stings?

I am not sure if anyone on this question really has any experience with bees or rattlers.
I have Lots of both out here on the ranch. I have two fresh skins hanging on my wall.
bees do feed off dead carcass to extract the moisture; any dead carcass.

So to answer your question. Yes it is possible for a bee to inadvertently pick up the poison from a rattlesnake head. the sting may not be fatal but may be pretty nasty. Who wants to test this theory?
Why take a chance if you catch or Kill a rattler don't take a chance, Burry the stinking thing.
