HIV does not do well out in the open. It usually dies. This is why HIV is transmitted by bodily fluids. Any place that you go to have a cosmetic proceedure done, whether it be shaving eyebrows, manicures, pedicures, should have a machine called an autoclave. This is used to sterilize a variety of things. Ask if they have an autoclave. If they say no, turn around and run!!!! The instruments should be in an autoclave at 121 C for 15 mins. But to answer your question, it is highly unlikely that you will contract HIV from a eyebrow shaver. People contract HIV by sharing needles because the needle penetrates the skin.

You would have to have blood from one person enter the other persons eyes or mouth or open cut. The virus only lasts a very short amount of time in the blood so you would have to do immediately after the other person. Technically it is possible but highly unlikely

ouch! tiny drops of blood? how are you plucking your eye brows!!! ne way, i doubt it. if it's possible, i think it would be as rare as a woman getting pregnant in a pool from a guy ejaculating on the other side of the pool.

As long as no blood is spilled and blunt instruments are used that will not inflict an accidental cut, I feel it would be safe. Of course hands should be scrubbed first.
