The book of revelation covers the years after Christs death until his return. Of course we're living in it. I believe though that more and more prophecies are being fulfilled, but theres still many to go.

I'll know we're getting some where when Israel breaks ground on the temple.

Yes, we most definately are.

Beginning at Rev. 2 and running through Rev. 3, Jesus presents us with 7 letters to 7 churches that actually existed at the time. Most theologians agree that, although His comments pertained to each church individually, these churches also represented different periods in the "Church Age." The Church Age began at Pentecost and continues until the Rapture.

Currently, we are near the end of the Church Age, represented by Rev. 3:14-22. This is known as the "Laodicean Age." Read the description of this church carefully and you will see it describes this age very accurately.

Many (but not all) theologians believe that the different church ages also contained specific congregations that fell into categories described by other churches. That's why many of us strive to fall into the "Philadelphia" church category, which will be found righteous enough to escape the Tribulation.

The Rapture is depicted at Rev. 4:1-2. The redeemed Church is depicted by the 24 Elders. If you want more information on this, please send me a message through YA.

I hope this helps. Peace and love in Jesus.

No way! Most biblical Scholors agree that the book of revelations applied to what was going on back during the time that it was written...Almost like a code for Christians...666 meant the emperor Nero...he is ment to represent the "beast" that is talked about so much because of the way he persecuted Christians. Alot of people think the book was written by John the Diciple but Gaius, a christian leader in rome during the time it was written says that it was written by a man named Cerinthus..who was johns worst enemy....he was later denounced as a heretic but christian religion has taken his books and made them the foundation of belief.

No, of course not. Life is essentially the same as it was decades ago. When/if the rapture happens, we will know it.
