As a "right brain" Scorp. I suggest these tips.

First realize your creativity level,,, including talent, ability, passion, then "exercise" those until you ache. Then push a bit harder. You may learn what you are capable of, and in the process, you may decide to explore deeper, or with increased desire to achieve some higher level.

Imaginations are hopefully, usually, often, unlimited. You can certainly apply yours to your creative efforts, no matter what they are.

When "creating" is a passion, it happens naturally, unforced, and often we create for US rather than for the approval of others.

If it becomes "Work" then it will no longer surround you with that sense of passion, nor will it fulfill and satisfy you,,,and very likely will fade.

It is a sweat. Especially if you do it for a living. I had the most fun at it when I was among other art students taking classes.

You gotta sketch whether you think your sketches are worth it or not. I mean sketch. Nothing like paper and pencil gels up the possibilities and shows the technical difficulties ahead to complete the idea.

And, turn off the damn computer.
