Well Allah says in the Quraan that he is the God of Adam, Abraham, Joseph, Noah, Zackharia, and Moses & Jesus and Mohammed.
He also says that everything in the universe belong to him,
Unlike the God of jews, He does not rest on sabbath, Neither sleep nor slumber overtakes him, He is the Creator, the Sustainer and the Destroyer. To him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth.
He also says that he is alone and he alone should be worshipped,
Unlike the Christian god which is three in one.
The Muslim God Says in the Quraan. " It does not befit the majesty of Allah to have a Son , So stop! Do not say there are three gods.
He also says, That Jesus and Moses and Abraham were his Prophets Like Mohammed and he makes no difference Between ththem. and they all brought the same message of Allah, That Allah is but One. and He has sent unto us prophets that we may be guided by following what they preach. That true prophets ask not of you any worldly gain, and only deliver unto you the message of the lord.
Now You decide.

God and Allah are both the same, its just they are subjected to different societies, and human interpretations. God will always be God and Allah will always be Allah, no mater how humans can define him. We have to get around that God doesnt follow the religions we create, and that organized religion and spirituality are two different things. All religion is man made, and most spirituality is God made, just depends on what you want to follow. Everyone knows the common laws of mankind, ex: dont kill, steal, lie, its in all religions. So as long as you follow that, it doesnt really matter what religion you claim, and what version of God you worship.

God probably is Allah, Ywh and a whole bunch of others but also liekely personal and impersonal in one. For most believers of whichever creed there isn't much dispute of the existence of a Supreme Being, but moreso the way to serve this being. People just have this tendency to look at their differences rather than what they have in common.

No. People believe too strongly in their own religion for that to happen. If Allah came down from the heavens and say Islam is right and Christianity is wrong, many Christians would defect but there would still be plenty that would stay Christians - they would say it was a trick by the devil or something.

Lets try to find GOD. Lets define HIM.

Decide yuorself with your 'scientific' knowledge whether GOD exits!!!

1) Plug the wire of a TV into the socket. Dont switch it ON. leave it as it is.
My question to you, if no body switches it ON, can it switch ON by itself?

2) You are lost in a forest, there you see a house in the middle of the forest. you are certain that this house has been built by someone. you may not know who he is but you are dead sure that the house has a owner. WHY?

3)You dont see Infra-Red radiations, yet you believe its existence. you dont see the waves that are meitted while we talk, yet you can feel it. you have not seen a single galaxy yet you believe the presence of millions of galaxies. WHY?

4) You were not present when an Apple fell over Newton. And he discovered Gravity. yet you believe Newton discovered 'Gravity'. have you seen it? Yet you believe in the phenomenon called 'Gravity'.

5) Nobody knows where is the exact location of 'Mind' and the 'Soul' in the human body, yet millions accept its prescence.

If you can affirm all these without seeing them, Can not the whole of the universe be built by ALmighty GOD???

The house in the forest has to have an owner, The Gigantic universe running in precise equilibrium, without an Owner?

GOD exists and HE is only ONE

The truth is Monotheism. There is only ONE GOD. Not 2, 3 or more.

This is the truth. A small school cant exist on 2 principals. Any organization has ONE final Authority. Therefore how can the entire universe be run by 2, Trinity or more GODs???

Then, the next truth is GOD is imageless. GOD cant be compared with anything on earth. GOD cant have wife and kids. If GOD can have wife and kids and still be called GOD then we all are GODs.

The final truth is that any religion that asks you to submit yourself to GOD is 'The Real Truth'. There can be no Law greater than the Law of 'The Creater'.

Apply the 3 principals and you get Islam. Which believes in Monotheism, doesnt give any image to GOD and asks its followers to submit their will (wholeheartedly) to GOD.

You cant have your own laws. If you buy a TV. Dont you refer to the instruction manual for the TV? Or you just mess it up as you like it since you OWN it?

The body which we have is not ours. Its a ctually a gift of ALmighty GOD which we have to use it as per his guidelines.

All the rules and Laws made by Man are subject to fail as Man doesnt know whats in store for him in the future. So Bow yourself to The will of GOD... In other words Submit your will to Almighty GOD. Enter Islam which means "Peace acquired by submitting your will to ALmighty GOD (ALLAH)"

But what exactly must a religion should be based on???

1) The religion should be based on Monotheism.
There can be only ONE GOD, without any partners. Any organization works fine if and only if there is ONE final Authority, therefore how can the entire Universe that functions with such a precise equlibrium be run by 2 or 3 or more GODs???

2) The religion must not jus be limited to rites and rituals, instead it must guide all sections of mankind, at all ages.

3) The scripture must be 100% compatible with established scientific facts and should not be modified with times. As any book from GOD is time-tested and fail-proof.

Apply alll these principles and you arrive at Islam.

I believe that God and Allah are the same just called differently. It is not the name that makes us different from one another. It is the belief system of the Bible and the Qur'an that sets us apart.

God is Absolute Life beyond all human concepts and meanings, so following a concept of God is following an idol. God expresses Love, Authority and Wisdom, so we can say meanings are bridges to the Divine. If we express more mercy, love and understanding, whilst remaining firm in our faith, I think we follow God to the best of our ability. The name is of no significance. Is the All-Mercy of Allah in your heart or is the Mercy of Christ radiating through you? Most of us have to answer negatively, so it is best we don't fall in love with our concepts of God.

Christians, Muslims and Jews worship the SAME God. Anyone who cares to look into it knows that. The problem is in the ways of worship and some of the belief systems in place to demonstrate oneself in one group versus another. Christians believe the way is only through Jesus, Muslims something else, and Jews something else.
