Unlike man, plants (think sandal wood) have extremely pleasant odours. A rose or a carnation never stinks, despite the fact that it grows in soil and remains in an environment of dust and dirt. However, man can hardly achieve such a permanent fragrance, no matter how much he cares for his body.
Have you ever thought why Man is created with so many weaknesses? Why God created flowers with beautiful fragrances but made the human body prone to produce an unpleasant scent?
The weaknesses of Man are not limited to body odours: he gets tired and hungry, feels weak, gets injured, becomes nauseated, sick...

Well, this question also belongs to the Science section...
Right, man is made with several imperfections, but so is every living being. That is why all living things go through the cycle of life and death and the legacy is continued by the offspring... That's how it's designed to be! After reaching adulthood leading to youth - probably the healthiest phase, the imperfections necessitate and cause the decay of the bodies resulting in them getting weak with age finally resulting in "natural" death...
Coming to odour, whether it is caused by an imperfection, the answer is yes and no.
No, because the sweat originally contains pheromones which smell rather pleasant (we can't readily get the "smell" of them, but it is scientifically proven that they, probably subconsciously, cause attaraction from opposite sex, much like how the plants/flowers use their fragrance to attract insects to aid in reproduction through pollination).
Yes, because the sweat also contains matter excreted by the skin and so it contains components which aid bacterial growth leading to fermentation and bad odour. So stale sweat stinks, not the fresh one.
Why does'nt the same happen with plants? Well the only medium through which plants excrete waste is through transpiration occuring at leaf surfaces. And by design leaves weild a pretty large surface area resulting in very efficient evaporation of the "waste liquid" so it does not get a chance of staying back and getting stale. Flowers only give out fragrance (if any) to attract insects and do no traspiration. The duties are separated for plants!
Humans (or any animals) in contrast do not have separate mechanism for giving out "good" and "bad odour" - both are done by the same sweat. Moreover most stagnation/fermentation happens in the folds of skin where skin brushes against skin leading to a warmer (because of the friction) and moist (because evaporation is not easy in a "tightly closed" setup) climate where bacteria thrives.
Also, wastes exceted by stationary living beings like plants might well differ from the ones excreted by mobile beings like animals - the body functions and food intake are very different. And the "activeness" of animals results in much faster generation of waste coupled with inefficient disposal - reason why we need a regular bath compared to plants.
Finally "pleasantness" of smell is relative - what is pleasanr for you and me might not be so for another species. There are actually plants/flowers which give out "unpleasant" odour!

Some do, some don't. Some plants actually stink, to attract flies to pollinate them. It's because the two are trying to attract different things. Ever hear how certain perfume attract insects? If people smelled like plants, we would have things buzzing around us all the time.

Mommy Mimi...plants actually do "perspire"...it's called transpiration. They have pores on their leaves where the "sweat" out the water they take in. That's why they wilt in hot weather.

When exactly is the last time you saw a plant haul butt and clean house, take the kids to some event on the other side of town, get in a session of Taebo, make 3 meals AND go to work in the same 24 hours?

Pointless pondering .. go to sleep ...

Well since the body perspires, it causes bacteria, and ammonia to be excreted through pores. Unlike plants that often use scents to attract bees and insects to pollinate them. Plants do hunger as well, and the weak wilt and die.

First reason for man unable to produce fragrance is man have sweat glands. plants does have these kind of glands. they expose their waste by Co2 (corbon di oxide). and we can't smell that Co2 smell since they are less in amount.

We are flesh and blood, plants are not. They don't eat the same things that we eat, therefore they don't have the same wastes that we do. Not all plants smell good either.. Roses really smell like woo woo woo woo
