My pug puppy passed away through the hours of the night from eating a posionious mushroom from our yard. We didn't know he had aten it, until it was too late. Please if you have "Posion Caps" in or near your yeard, keep a careful eye on your animals! I know it's hard to watch them every hour of every day, but just observational of the things your pets put in their mouth. I wish I would of known my Zeke was eating a mushrom, I could of gotten him to a vet quicker, but I didn't.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I'm so sorry about your puppy honey. That is so very sad. puppies are the worst for swallowing everything they can get into their little mouths. Don't for a minute think it was your fault. You just can't watch them every second.
I'll pass this warning along so your beloved pet will not have died in vain. I'll keep a watch on mine as well.
I'm sending you a big HUG.

Well if you are sad you should know that is was not your fault because you don't watch you dog every minuate. So I would not blame your self. I know how it feels I blamed my self when my hampester died and I probably will when my dogs die so don't worry tere are more dogs out there that are looking for a home . So you could get a new one but you don't have to if it makes you sad well this is all the information I can tell you:]

So sorry for your puppy. It is really not all that hard to know what they are doing outside. My dog lives indoors and when he's out he is on a leash so I have control of him and what he does. He plays at a dog park (totally fenced) and at the dog beach. He has a 25 foot lead for playing at the forest preserve.

My heartfelt condolences. I know just how hard it is to lose a pet. I had to put my dog down 2 weeks ago because of bladder cancer. Please....don't blame yourself for what happened. The guilt will kill you. Just KNOW in your heart that you would have done what was right, would you have known. It's not your fault! And thanks so much for warning everyone. God Bless You....and your little puppy who is now in heaven watching over you!!!

Sorry to hear that. As a pet owner myself, I do not think I'd know what to do if it happens to one of my dogs. Anyways, I am sure if you had known what Zeke has eaten, you would have acted on it immediately. Do not beat yourself for something you can no longer undo. Stay strong and I am sure you did your best. :)

I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. May he rest in peace. You're very kind to warn people about the danger of poisonous plants. I might add that some people who don't like dogs or cats put out poison for them. We should therefore always be very watchful of what our pets put in their mouths.

Oh, I am SO sorry! I will be sure to watch for those freak mushrooms. If Shadow died, then I would probably die too. Okay, and thank you, thank you, thank you for the tip. And I really am sorry!
