Be yourself. I am in a town that this happens alot unless you have it with the in crowd. Other than that you find the guys that are just looking for a good time if you know what I mean. I believe that you need to look beyond your area and reconsider your system that you have been trying to aim a guy. Think outside the box. If you don't approach a guy that often, then try starting a conversation with one and see where that goes and then ask about a casual date and if that doesn't work then the guys around there are not worth it.

Because you don't need to change yourself, because if you try it will work for awhile but in the long run you are going to make yourself unhappy.

If you're looking for one special guy, consider following these tips to get a boyfriend.

Steps:
1. Know what type of guy you're looking for. Make a list of traits that appeal to you, such as intelligence, looks, ambition, sense of humor, or respect for other people's feelings.

2. Resolve old hurts and disappointments. Make sure you're ready for a new relationship by setting aside any grievances about old boyfriends.

3. Attract the type of guy you're looking for by emphasizing your best features and downplaying undesirable traits. Make the most of what you have, both physically and mentally.

4. Learn how to make a guy feel good about himself by taking an interest in his life and his aspirations.

5. Consider any unattached guys at your school or work. Do any of them match the qualities that you want in a boyfriend?

6. Get involved in activities that you enjoy to give yourself the chance to meet new guys. Expand your horizons and your circle of friends.

7. If you have your eye on a certain guy, let mutual friends know about your interest in him. Ask someone you trust to discreetly tell him about your interest.

8. If you don't have the nerve to directly approach a guy who has caught your eye, consider being his secret admirer for a while. Send him sweet, anonymous messages or notes (with a few subtle clues about your identity) to let him know about your interest in him.

Tips:
Love can surface in unexpected places and at unexpected times. Keep your eyes open for the right guy for you.

Warnings:
Don't settle for anybody just so you can say you have a boyfriend. Be selective to find the right guy for you.

Why should you let anyone know? They'll just tell him. I think some guys would be afraid or shy and try to avoid you. Maybe some won't, but why take a chance?

He just hasn't come along yet.......

As long as it isn't you (e.g. personal hygiene) then you have to be yourself. Don't force yourself into a mould for a guy, you end up hating both him and yourself.

Join a club or go to an evening class in something YOU are interested in.

(I've been told car maintenance is a good one but when my single friend went it was full of women) Needlework and flower arranging probably aren't too hot for meeting guys but you may like them for yourself so go anyway.

Smile and relax. Don't give "closed" body language.

Stop trying so hard - it puts the guys off. Look for a friend first and then hope the spark grows to a flame but you can't force it.

Believe in yourself as unique. There are guys who will like you for who you are. It's just a matter of time before you find your Mr. Right.

Don't despair. Be yourself. There bound to someone out there that is waiting for you. Sincereity and good personality melts people hearts.

Different for every guy.

I for one am a huge furry. I want my girls dressed up like cute, big-eyed dragons. Then I dress up like a knight and have to penetrate her scaley defenses with my sword...

Awww yeaaah.

WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG YOU CAN GET A GUY AT SCHOOL, DANCES, CLUBS AND THE LOCAL LIBRARY. OLDER GIRLS MAY NEED SOME HELP WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

just wear stuff you feel sexy and confident in, it shows through your personality, and smile, laugh, look friendly, and walk with confidence,
and when you are approached be friendly and smile at them.
