I should mention, we work in a (somewhat) professional office. I find it disrepectful and just plain gross. Am I being "old fashioned" here? Should I complain to our supervisor??

If it's pure rudeness, don't pay any attention and he'll stop. Those people are like mean children and just want to make you react. When you don't react, they lose their purpose.
On the other hand, if there's a medical condition behind his burping (which could be the case), there's a little you can do. But in that case, he should at least apologize. Otherwise, he's ill AND rude.

i like the smart-a$$ approach myself. Say something like " now that's reaallly attratractive- I bet the girls (or boys if you really wanna pi$$ him off) looooove you!" Or you could just play along for a while and take the fun out of it for him- it seems like he's just doing it to annoy you. Start rating them on a scale of 1-10, and next time he does it say "Really not one of your best..." or you could slip some gas-x or beano in his coffee.... ;)

If it was really bothering me, I would contact the supervisor. Know, however, that "snitching" may not make you the most popular person in the office.

You could always loudly say, "Oh my God! That's disgusting! It sounded like you just vomited on your desk! Are you sick?" Sometimes going over the top is the only way to fight inconsiderate people.

Well, you could try making sarcastic remarks (like "Oh, how attractive," or "Yeah, like THAT will get you lots of girls"), but sarcasm is rude, and it sounds like he's just trying to get attention. If you ask him to stop, unfortunately now he knows he's bugging you, and he probably likes that. How immature. Hopefully one day he'll outgrow it.

Try ignoring him, he way be doing it just to annoy you. If that doesn't work, tell your supervisor.

Either ignore him, or every time he does it loudly say "Excuse you"! It sounds as if he thinks its funny, maybe he really doesn't know any better. I wouldn't report him, he'll be caught on his own.

Be tolerant. I'm sure you do things that annoy other people. There is certainly no need to report him. That would be a terrible thing to do.

What is he, 12?

Tell him burping isn't sexy. That ought to reel it in.
