I did not really believe in angels, then Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

I think Angels appear to us all the time, we just don't know they are angels. So, I guess I would react the same way I always have and say "hello, My name is Grumpy, what's yours?"

Angels come in a variety, the names are from bible teachings, the comments are mine.

First Choir: These are the Top 3 classes, hang out with god very powerful and shouldn't be messed with. (The 5 star Generals)
Seraphim
Cherubim
Thrones

Second Choir: These are middle management Angels, (the generals staff)

Dominations
Virtues
Powers

Third Choir; These are the Working group of Angels

Principalities... Field grade officers
Archangels...The Sargent's and enforcers
Angels ....These are the ones that interact with us.

Well i will say it depends on the type of angels appearance, becuase angels could appear in any form "Human" at that very moment, its either a voice from your inside tells you, which is the Holy Spirit or your own spirit tells you, you might have a feeling at that very moment that the occurrence is extraordinary, in some cases you might not even know until the angel's disapperance then you get to understand that, it was an angel. i will say that in most cases you only find out after the disapperance of the angel, so you cannot really have a fixed reaction, even when you know its an angel you cannot have a fixed reaction. as per what you do, i believe one should be happy, for God to send His angel to you it simply means, you are truely precious and honoured to God and that God really loves you, according to the book of Isaiah.

I am not sure if I have actually seen an angel but once I saw a small blue light. I turned away and went into another room. A few days later my oldest son said he saw the same thing. It was when we first moved into our house. If a angelic figure stood in front of me I think I would probably faint. If they had a good reason like a message for me I would hope I could hold it together to hear the message.

Angels walk amongst us every day, their the ones that help others get through the hard times in life, trouble is people don't see them for what they are, I wouldn't be worried or scarred if one appeared to me there would obviously be a reason for it, I think people are scarred of what they don't know or don't believe in so they condemn others who do believe, you see you must be an angel for asking this question.

An "angel" is biblically defined as a "star", or a messenger, or a minister; And Satan notably has ministers (fallen stars) disguised as messengers(ministers) of righteousness: 2Cor 11, both religious and political ministers. So I'd follow the advice of Paul The Apostle (his witness unto all men) in Galatians 1 concerning another gospel of another law (only makes you feel wretched with guilt after luring you into such evil[law] concupiscence):

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed"(Gal 1:8)... notably spoken to those "bewitched" by James, Cephas, John (angels, stars, ministers, 3 top "dogs")

In which things are an "allegory" and a "mystery" to solve.

For an angel from heaven could be from either side (either heaven) of left/right sides(hands) of the plural and divided God in the plural and divided "heavens" on "high", which are both law/law; So all you'll get from such an angel is law(worketh wrath)/law(ministration of death), which God in heaven(higher than the heavens) hath not appointed us unto.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I suppose one could say that an angel did appear to me in 1996. Or perhaps it was the actual Holy Spirit.

I broke down and cried. All of creation became radiant of God's divine Light. It was amazing.

Well i guess i would be frightened at first as it is not everyday you get visited by an angel. Then i would wonder if i was alive or dead. Then i guess i would ask what it wanted, it would appear before you for a reason.

I'd probably be speechless. I might cry. I would listen to whatever the angel had to say, because obviously if one appears there is something important I need to know.
