I began having serious cases of hives last February. I had an allergy test that came back negative (as in no allergies). I went to an holistic doctor in the states while there on vacation in March. He gave me several different pills (vitamins and such) and they immediately vanished! However they started back up again a week or two ago, and nothing seems to help!

Well, the Dr. I saw first is an endocrinologist. He did the IgE test. That's what came back negative. I also went to a Dermatologist. The two of them were both thinking that it's due to stress, temperature, fatigue or something else. But the problem is that I want to know why I am having the hives. What's the cause?... That's what I wanna know! They come and they go and there doesn't seem to be any pattern...

You could try a dermatologist & ask for some more specific allergy testing to find out what's causing your hives. Also you could analyze the situation around and in your life when the hives start up. What are you eating, drinking, touching, breathing at the time. That sort of thing.

Hives is usually a response to anything ingested, despite the fact that you dont feel you will have had some thing new, a product will have converted an factor... We too can develope an alergy to anything we now have eaten earlier than and not using a response. It will also be a response to anything that youhave been in touch with, cleaning soap, washing powder, and even pollen grains within the air! You additionally point out blisters ..... Are you certain it isn't Chicken Pox?? See a Dr.

That's tough,I feel really sorry for you that despite all those scientific advices nothing helps.I can imagine you're in distress, desperate for advices and is looking for means and ways to treat your dilemma..and fast!
I think in order for you to stop worrying you should try to actively participate in something artistic like a hobby or something that way you distract your attention in thinking your latest annoyance.Of course, always take into mind the do's and don't relating to that and just take it easy, one day at a time. It's really stressy I know and for someone who's extra sensitive such as yourself, you'll only oppress your condition all the more resulting to more break-outs.
The idea is to relax and unwind once in awhile so why not try going out for a day for instance like heading to the coast--fresh seabreeze while the waves kisses your toes every now and again walking barefoot ashore....you live in the moment while you take the pleasure of enjoying it too.Let those medicines do its wonders but most importantly, keep your mind free from all those worries. And before you know it, you'd outgrown what worries you in the 1st place.

Hope my thoughts works for you too. :)

My son was diagnosed with Idiopathic hives....other words, hives for unknown reason. All they did was a $$$ worth of blood tests and told him to take Zyrtec. His hives seem to be stress related....even good stress.
