With a Zebco reel and some good monofilament line, a person can get a good cast in almost in any environment. A woman needs to have perhaps a shorter rod but soon can be laying in that spoon or plug right where the big ones are waiting. Remember, keep the tip up and let the bass strike hard before reeling them in.
