I don't picture an actual person. I think it will be an all enveloping feeling of love. We are limited with only six senses but on the spiritual plan I think it will be so different. I picture when my time comes to die just jumping right into Jesus's arms. I have read books about near death experiences and most of them talk about a white light. seeing dead loved ones or an angel to help them cross over. When they come back they are not afraid of death. They say it is beautiful. There are some negative experiences though, with demons and pain. Some say they have a review of their life. They feel all the feelings that they made others feel while they were alive. I don't have the books with me now but Elizabeth Kubler Ross did alot of research in this area. For me I picture love, love, love. If I hurt someone I truly feel sorry and try to make amends. I never know which day will be my last. Hope I answered your question.

I feel that God is similar to us in appearance and we'd recognize that. I also think He has a spiritual presence that would be so phenomenal, so overwhelming that we couldn't look in His direction.
I've always felt that to be in Heaven and near to the Creator would be heaven unlike anything we could imagine. Likewise, I feel that hell is real and what makes it a terrible existence is permanent separation from God. I've thought that we might just get a glimpse of heaven if we were headed to hell and the pain of knowing we couldn't go there would be unbearable.
God is all loving, but only to those who accept him and his son Jesus and don't rebel against him.

I know God loves all humans because God created them. God has mercy on all humans, even those who disobey his orders. God forgives them if they ask for forgiveness, and gives them many chances to go back on the right track. I know God has all the wonderfull qualities we can think of: God is the most generous, the most merciful, the most fair.. etc.
I love God, but sometimes my fear is more than love. Since I know we all will stand before God one day, and we will be asked about every little thing we did, before we go to heaven or hell. This can make me worry sometimes.

I think of God in this way... loving, forgiving, creative genius, the greatest scientist of all time, angry with sin and utterly sinful people that have corrupted His creation, just, able to clearly see that which is in the hearts and minds of every one of His children, hopeful that each of His children will acknowledge Him as The Creator and their Lord... now THAT is a run-on sentence!

Well I'm a Chirstian so my answer would be I picture God when I look at the mirror, I was created in His image and Likeness. His personality: a cool dude pretty much like cool people, he doesn't smoke or drink alcohol he is like a mother and a father to me.

i think of god as a light of love
an ultimate energy ( picture the sun )
shining so bright
and i feel one day when we have advanced spiritually and stepped through each level of spirit that we would join one day with that light to become part of that love
i don't feel god is as strict as most think , and would have a wonderful sense of humour
and i do feel that god is an observer rather than a punisher
watching us and learning from us in a sense
through our physical attributes , weaknesses , emotions and strengths .. god learns about god

I think of Him as being the Father of all things and full of love for all His creation. At the same time He is distraught by what mankind has done and how some have turned their backs on Him. Just as any loving Father would be.

I think that because of His divinity, it is impossible to really "picture" God. We have no frame of reference, as nothing we have experienced comes close to His glory. However, we see glimpses of Him, and we feel Him in our hearts. He sent His Only Begotten Son into the world to save mankind. He is certainly a loving God. People suffer because He allows us our free agency, but if we turn to Him, even in the "eleventh hour", He will welcome His children home (just as in the parable of the prodigal son). We come to know God slowly, through a lifetime of prayer and striving to be closer to Him. In sort, God is Love.

I tend to think of God as a mother, actually. (Probably because I grew up with a single mom.) God is there to listen and be my comfort and my best friend whenever I need, and to help me out when things get a little rough.
