Mud smell after rain
As I pulled up to the Starbucks drive-through to place an order the other day, it started to rain. I counted about 40 drops on my windshield. Through the microphone, I told the guy inside about it, and he relayed this vital news to the rest of the employees, and I heard a loud and collective “whahoo” through the scratchy speaker.
By the time I picked up my cappuccino, it was over, nothing but the pleasant smell of rain left to tease us.

Leaves burning, or wood burning, outside on a chilly autumn day.
I used to rent a cabin every new year's and we would chop wood all day and sit by the fire at night.
I like this question!
