I have a ot of thick wavy hair and its always dry. I buy moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and that alone doesn't work for me. I want to be able to iron my hair without having to put any chemicals in it. Thanks for your answers.

ok. I should have specified in my question. I meant like what specific products, cause I have a collection of products at home that didn't work. Thanks

So, far the only thing that works is getting it trimmed, but I want to let it grow again.

Treat your hair with a mixture of Mayo, eggs, and Olive Oil once a week. Let the mixture stay on your hair for an hour. Also, use a product called Olive Oil Sheen Spray when your hair is wet and when you want to use your iron. This will not only keep your hair moisturized, but it will also keep your hair frizz free.

I have the same type of hair. As often as you can, let it air dry--- the natural oils from your scalp help a lot. And also, when you condition:: I know you're only supposed to use a quarter size amount-- but hair like ours requires more. Shampoo and condition your hair once you get in the shower--- and don't rinse the conditioner out till the end. Most of the time this works--- but sometimes everyone is going to have a bad hair day. Good Luck!

ok, use a hair shampoo and conditioner from the same brand for your hair type... also buy hair products such as hair serum for straightening! Try the Bed Heads one
A good home remedy is to use mayonnaise and leave it on for 20-30 minutes before washing! that should give it a shine :)

First you have to improve from the insides- make sure you are getting enough protien in your diet, and take a mutivitamin every day. (Once in a while won't make a difference) Then I would recommend Pantene Pro-v. Use it every day for a couple of weeks. I notice a huge difference.
