Tomorrow is another day.

..."we are still masters of our fate, we are still captains of our soul"

Have the courage to live, anyone can die!

A Smile for You

" Smiling is infectious

You catch it like the flu

When someone smiled at me today

I started smiling too

I walked around the corner

And someone saw me grin

When he smiled I realised

I had passed it on to him

I thought about the smile

And then realised its worth

A single smile like mine

Could travel round the earth

So if you feel a smile begin

Don't leave it undetected

Start an epidemic

And get the world infected."

Nope. Only you can give your life meaning, or your actions purpose. You have to think about what gives you a good feeling about yourself and your actions.

However, these thoughts may help you come to decisions about that.

Consider starting a journal. Write down 3 statements each day that are true about you, that are wholely positive, and that are about things that you are, or things that you can do. Such as - I can read. I am a helpful person. I can change the oil in a car's engine. (These are true - about me.) Try to write down 3 new things each day - but if you can't think of anything new, re-read your prior pages and write ones you have already written. It works to help you understand yourself.

Then remember this thought. If every person chose one cause whose purpose is the non-violent betterment of some portion of the world, or life, or living, and devoted some time and, if possible, money to the cause regularly, how much a better place this world would be.

Hope this helps.

Yes. Read the Celestine Prophesy or a book by Dan Millman like 'The Way of the Peaceful Warrior', they are written as fiction but have deeper meaning and will help you to grow spiritually (they are not religious books, don't be confused by the use of the word 'spiritually' there). Or how about reading 'Heal your Life' by Louise Hay.

Alternatively pop into your local book store and go to the New Age and Self Help section, they will have lots of books like this. You will find answers if you look for them and actually posting this question shows that you are ready to start looking.

Good luck.

Only you can do that for yourself. As an agnostic spiritualist, I believe there is greater meaning in the universe, but that as humans, we can never understand them. Therefore, we must find the things that feel right for us from which to draw meaning - for example, do you enjoy art or literature? Are you a sports fan? Do you like sharing opinions? Do you like browsing the net? All of these things can provide you with 'purpose' and 'meaning' that will make you feel more worthwhile. Hope this helps.

There was a time when I had no meaning or purpose in life. I was very depressed and was just waiting to die. Then I invited Jesus into my heart and life and things changed. I wasn't depressed and I wanted to live. God puts us all here for a reason. Ask Him. He'll let you know in an unmistakeable way why He put you here--your purpose. From that you'll find meaning in life. If you don't believe in God, then you have no purpose.

You want a purpose for living? Curiosity. What is going to happen next? Who's going to do it? What am I about to do next?

I finally decided that life didn't need a purpose or a meaning. I just do it. Go find someone to cheer up. That can be your purpose.

Babes, you have been given life. use it. go out there and explore the planet, learn something new and be the best that you can become. Nobody can give you purpose or meaning, you must come up with your own philosophy...

It's "meaning" and that's for you to give yourself...live, enjoy life, have friends, do things you like to do...one of your purposes should be to make your life the best it can be (as should we all)
