Because it is their main goal to make you happy with them. It is in their breeding. They were originally breed to fight other dogs, it was what their owners wanted, so the dog associated fighting with making their owner happy. Today, since fighting has for the most part been breed out, they just need your approval and love, but if not socialized they can still have aggressive tendencies towards other animals. It is the poorly raised pit bulls, that get poor media, and that seems to be all people hear. It is a shame because I own three and they are the best dogs I have ever had. They are big clowns that would never think of attacking a person, and due to a proper upbringing have never attempted to attack another animal. Keep spreading a good word about the breed and for everyone who believes everything you hear, I suggest doing some research or talking to people who have actually owned a pit bull.

Yes,pitbulls i love them.So many people say they are dangerous, but no matter what the breed of dog,its all in the way you treat it and how it was raised.ANY dog if not taken care of properly and when provoked will attack i dont care what the breed,i dont see the danger in pitbulls solely. Also,Dogs can smell the fear, they can sense it as any animal could if they know you are afraid watch out, lol.I see no sense in being worried over a pitbull if people take care of them right they are a wonderful family dog.

pitbulls my favorite dogs. i have 1 american 2 brindle. i don`t know what peoples problems are with pitbulls but personally i think that they need to get over it. just one month ago somebody dropped some food dipped in antifreeze into my backyard killing 2 of my pitbull puppies that i was selling. they were just one and a half months old. they got killed for no reason and i don`t think that is right. they did not bark or bite anybody because i kept them inside except for when they had to go to the bathroom. they were very sweet but that did not stop the heartless person that killed them.

well definitely you are on a soapbox that Pit bulls are fine animals,
that said - with proper training they are great loving pets. The problem herein really lies there is a particular breed of humans that selectively choose this breed of dog because of their genetic makeup - Pit bulls for their size have enormous strength in their neck and jaws. Like many dogs their instinct to fight to the head of the pack is encouraged. I believe that Pit bulls generally are decent respectable pets, but will always dominate the other pets in the room - based on what have seen. A chihuahua would bite you head off if pissed off enough - but like all deadly spiders, are really unable to deal the lethal bite. The breed i am most suspicious of is Dalmatians, from all their wacky inbreeding - but then again how times do you hear other than Rots and Pits killing neighbors, old women and children?

I have a pitbull (illegal over here hehe) and she's the only dog I've ever liked. She's so sweet and cuddly and playful and wouldn't harm a fly...
But other b*****ds in this country train them up for fighting purposes so they get a bad name, which is totally unfair, they the best dogs ever!
And I'm pregnant and I know that she'd never harm the child, she's so playful with children, and although she sometimes does it a bit carried away, it doesn't take but one word to calm her down.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7Ab
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

It terrible how people train them to fight. They are cute dogs and my friend, whose pitbull passes away late last year, had one of the most friendliest pit bulls. I have heard that boxers have a better temperament, but that doesn't stop pit bulls from being good dogs too. The name doesn't help much with their reputation though...

I don't have pitbulls, but my cousin's do.
I think any animal (pet) will act out re. how it is
treated. My cousin's are kind & loving to their
dogs & the dogs in return are kind & loving.

They can be very cute and loving. People only say bad things about them because most people that have them train them badly and abuse them and make them mean and that's why people say they are bad. So if u r a good owner, they will be cute and loving.

Definitely not a dog you want to have around kids. I've seen to many that snap and revert back to their original breeding instincts ie: bite and don't let go
