We not only can, we ARE blowing up the world--in the same sense that one blows up a balloon. The interior of the world contains gases which expand upon heating (just like the air in a hot air balloon.) As the atmosphere heats up thanks to the green house effect, some of this heat is gradually conducted to the interior where it heats theses gases which in turn cause the earth to expand. This is why we never seem to run out of land despite population increases and increased building of roads,houses etc. One more reason to welcome, rather than dread, global warming.

Well,Bush does still have 2 more years in the White House.We'll have to see what happens.I think he's gonna flip out a little when it's time to leave ,I can see him having a tantrum behind the desk in the oval office.A secret service man is telling him,"Mr.President ,it's time to go....".And Bush is all like,"But this here is my desk...this is my red phone....this is my red button{he pushes the red button(BOOM)}.There goes the world.yup
