It is a natural anticeptic. Many are unaware that clove is used in the manufacture of toothpaste. it also helps in pain reduction for those with tooth ache by applying clove oil to the affected area.
Even Indonesian cigarettes have clove in them. It has a different flavor from the normal cigarettes. Believe it or not, it has a cooling effect on a hot day for many. Those smoking the Kretak will notice cracking noises from the burning cigarettes.
For the Chinese glutton, adding cloves sparing to the stewed pork soup, really enhances the medicinal herbs used for the soup. It invorgorates the stomach and the bile, according to the soup sellers and the herbal medical shops.
Hours after a meal of the stewed soup, one can get a really good sleep. Do you still doubt the goodness of this herb or spice?

Usually used for teeth. Clove oil is used as a natural anaesthetic and antiseptic and can be applied around gums to relieve toothache, ulcers etc. It has healing properties, though the taste is strong!

Clove oil for a tooth ache!! It tastes terrible and if any gets on your lips it will cause them to burn!! But, if your tooth is hurting bad enough it does work. Dentists don't like for us to use it though. The bottle has clear warnings about not getting it on your skin and mouth because it will cause irritation. I used a Q-tip and held it on the tooth for a while.
