Um, terrorist attacks are NOT politically based. Not in any way, shape or form. They are motivated by their silly religion. I don't believe they are blamed, I think they are responsible for all terrorist attacks. Big difference. It's not like Islam is wrongly accussed here.

Because people in general do not understand the difference between the spiritual part of a religion, and the role religion plays for those who use it for self serving interests, (particularly when it comes to political power).

"Islamic" leaders who use the religion to brainwash their followers in to following their "cause" to fight the infidels, are NOT doing so for any religious reasoning, only to promote themselves. Notice how it is Islamic clerics who rise to power in the Middle East.

At this point in time, an overwhelming number of terrorist groups use Islam as the excuse for their actions.

Starting several hundred years ago, it was Christian church leaders who did the exact same thing, except to a much larger degree. That's right...the Christian church has a long history of war campaigns, kidnapping people, torturing and killing them mearly for political gain. Even as recent as the 60's with trying to annihilate Native American Indian spirituality by physically abusing young natives if they dared even spoke a word of their own language. Where was the American white person's outrage over terrorism then? Was it ok with people because it was their own religion that said it was ok?

Religion is not the problem. It is the fact that so many people within a religion allow the religious teachings to blind them to what should otherwise stand out as a glaring contradiction to the very scripts that they claim as the Holy words of their god.

That's why I don't blame religion or God for religious based terrorist acts. I blame the self serving religious leaders, and the mirad of mindless spiritual juveniles which are lead by them.

BTW, terrorism is almost always politically based.

The terrorists committed their acts "in Allah's call" and for his or her faith. this does not advise that the religion is at fault yet with the aid of their movements they have implicated Islam of their action. there is an quite loud team of Muslim's who seem to agree. you assert that the gang is small yet enable's settle for it, a million% of a million billion remains a million. A small proportion of a super variety remains super. On 9/11 television crews had no undertaking finding Muslims who have been celebrating the assaults, yet those comparable crews have had undertaking finding Muslim clerics to denounce specifically and easy techniques using terror to end their non secular objectives. in the absence of this form of denial (sure, you will locate some vehement denials yet no foremost Sunni or Shiite cleric has denounced the acts) and the unwillingness of the Cordoba Initiative to artwork with survivors communities to make this a memorial for the harmless lives lost we are left with a question as to what this mosque is for. this is the surprising loss of a crucial voice interior Islam asserting "This exchange into incorrect and is not any longer what we've self assurance" that creates concerns. no count if this is in basic terms by an quite decentralized faith or with the aid of fact people who will dedicate violence for non secular doctrine is immaterial, the effect is the comparable. sturdy people worship interior a faith that has been highjacked with the aid of thugs and can't take their faith lower back. I see the thugs with the aid of fact the villains and the Muslims as victims yet we don't help the Muslims with the aid of offering the thugs with a victory monument. Islam itself is an unlucky bystander to this tragedy. additionally, being against the mosque as unwise does no longer advise that the Cordoba Initiative does not have the nicely suited to construct it. they are in a position to and in the event that they desire to they'll. on the different hand, this is stressful to work out what valuable progression they'll make in Muslim-West family members (their stated objective) with the aid of pursuing this line. To sum up, the mosque is criminal, financially possible, insensitive and finally stupid.
