Their is a new product for hanging curtains without using tools or making holes in your walls. It is a slide on bracket for mini blinds that acts like a curtain rod bracket. Has anyone used this, and do you think it really works? www.slideonbrackets.com

I looked at the website. Looks like it should work. I understand the concept they are talking about, although I wouldn't try hanging 10 pounds on it. Normally there is a groove at the front of your blinds. Little plastic brackets fit onto that then the piece that covers up metal body of your blinds fits onto that. They are just using that groove to hang their brackets on that have hooks so you can hang like valence or something over the blinds. The main thing you'd have to worry about is that the width of the hook and your blinds are the same.

You could only hang sheers. semi sheers, or rod pocket curtains or it would be too heavy. You could not hang drapes with it. I would be interested to hear if they work with all mini blind hardware. Mine look like they do not have anything that slides but fits over the hardware to cover it, so I would be interested to see how it works with ALL MINI BLIND MANUFACTURERS.
