I have a lot of old cookbooks that call for 1/3tsp of dry ingredients and I'm sick of having to guesstimate. My mother has an ancient set of spoons but won't let me have them! What companies sell these spoons?

Personally I would just use a slightly heaping 1/4tsp as it probably does not have to be that exact. However, they do make adjustable measuring spoons that slide and are graduated on the side. Just set the adjustable part to 1/2 way between 1/4 and 1/2tsp.

After checking John Lewis's website there is no 1/3 tsp. And I know none of the major "_____marts carry that item. It is too specialized.

I have been in the industry (food service) for 25 years and this is the first time I've ever heard of a 1/3tsp measure! Always by the 1/4...

good luck!
