I'm from South Africa and I'm just curious. People emigrate and never comes back because of the crime etc. If so, do you miss South Africa or will you never consider to come back?

I agree with you Stealth but you must remember that I'm also sick and tired but I will never emigrate because I was born here and South Africa was a better place along time ago. I miss those good old days and the way it's going now I just want to break down and cry, believe me.

I moved from South Africa 1 year ago - to Australia.. I miss the country, my family and my friends ! O ya and I miss speaking Afrikaans wherever I go - now I only speak it at home.... But I do not miss being scared all the time - I enjoy my new found 'freedom' - a freedom to go anywhere anytime and not constantly look over your shoulder or be afraid that someone might murder/rape you... I will definitely go back to SA to visit but not to stay....

I'm in Seoul, Korea. But I didn't leave because of the crime and whatever. I left to give my kids a better musical education. And to make a couple of bucks before returning to SA and opening my own academy!
