Hi. I think my breasts are starting to develop,I've grown 4 inches in the past year. I'm starting to get pubic and armpit hair. I haven't had discharge yet. Do you think I'm going to get my period soon. I'm also 12 yrs. old and going into 7th grade.

Ask your mom and grandmother when they started their period. You will start around the same age as one of them. But, I started when I was 12, and my mom didn't get hers until she was 17. But my grandma got hers at 12.
And for your knowledge, don't WANT your period. Its a horrible, painful, and messy thing. Don't rush it. Enjoy your life while you can and don't try to grow up too fast.

according to me, the queston about public hair is not that serous,
you can ask your mom about waxing them by going to the beauty
parlour. but waxing to be done at your age is not good at all.
and yes, please answer me back i want to know in which school are you studying in. coz it was very dumb of you to ask such a question. cause only we girls have periods and not boys and they don't know the thing called periods you could have asked your mom or any other aunty. and don't ask this to any boy regarding to your question even i started my periods in seventh. always carry a sanitary napkin if you don't know how to handle it you may ask it to your mom , coz you never know when you start with periods . there is a possibility for you to have periods now if you want more answers from me then this is my email id

You might get it soon, but you might not get it until your 18, it just depends on how quickly you develop, don't worry if you don't start it for a while, make the most of not having that problem!

It's a real possibility, so carry a pad in your bookbag or purse, just in case. Some females get serious cramps when they are on their period, I never had cramps, my one daughter doesn't get them either, but my other one does. Hope it doesn't come too soon, but be prepared for if it does
