Do I have to put something in there, such as "unk" for unknown, in order to use it as a criterion? It's already a large database, and that would be time consuming. Well, OK, then how do I do that automatically, if that's what I need to do?

It depends on the data format, in many cases it's Null but for text sometimes it's "" and for numbers other times it's 0. I'm sure someone knows what situation each arises, but I just experiment until it works.

On the "" there should be no space between the apostrophes that will set the criterion as single space.

hi, you may want to favor to make sparkling somewhat. Which of those sounds more effective like your difficulty: a million) the kind's record source is a table, and the issue is that you're unable to CREATE a sparkling record utilising the kind until eventually you enter records into each and every of the kind fields. 2) the kind's record source is a question that retrieves records from a table (or tables), and the issue is that the question isn't getting each and every of the information that you want -- so as that when you open the kind no longer each and every of the information are there.

Haven't done it in a while but I think it is " ". ( a space between the apostrophes).
