I pray silently and out loud ... depending where I am...sometimes my grandson and I pray when we stop at a red light...which would be out loud... and sometimes when I am in a restaurant I pray while I am waiting for my friend to arrive .... which would be silently... so like I say .. just depends on where you are at the time you want to pray..
As long as you are praying you are in the hands of our Lord...Satan cannot touch that...

Silently, out loud or quietly, it really makes no difference as you are not conversing with God (except in your imagination) Satan is not lurking around the corner waiting to tempt you, it is all a fairy-tale. Although these are my beliefs and you are welcome to yours. Hypothetically speaking though, if God and Satan were real entities (which they are not) I don't think how loud your prayers are would really make a difference.

prayers are a personal communication with God. there's no real need for them to be said out loud but you can pray however you chose to - it doesn't make a difference.
satan tempts us everyday anyway in all sorts of ways. we also resist temptation everyday too. even if satan really is tempting you - it doesn't mean you'll give in. if you know where your beliefs stand you can resist.

In Islam, we are taught by Allaah in Quran 67 [mid verse] \wa asiru qolakun...innahu alimun bidatil sudur' Say your heart desire silently or loudly, He that knows what is in the heart surely hears you.
So why worry about the devil, if you have no business with Him? Infact he or it cannot block your assess to God. You are the one who often times block this assess way by your wrong notions and misconception. So let seek God and search Him right and pray for a heart softened enough to accept Him.

I don't think it really matters as prayer comes from your heart and God knows you heart and your thoughts. You should never be ashamed to pray out loud or in public if you are asked.

If you say your prayers out loud, when there are people present, are you just trying to look like a little angel? Sorry if I'm not more eloquent. But when I pray, its all in my head, I feel more comfortable that way.

You may do it in any manner that suits you. What is important is that it must be intense enough to take you nearer to God. All the stories about Satan tempting etc. should not be believed literally. Such stories are allegorical and symbolically.

you can say prayers out loud, or silently in your head. it makes no difference.
It's your personal choice.
Praying is usually thought of as conversing with God. People could look at it as conversing with other Gods though, or as wishing, or hoping.

god already knows how many times you will pray in your life and he knows what you are going to say.
He knows if you are a good person, so you can m,ake a deal with him that You love him forever, and will stop praying, and devote your time to worthy causes in his name.
Now you have more time to do good deeds, use it well, use science.
God he must be really bored of listening to the same prayers and requests. "Our father who farts in heaven....."
"Please let chelsea beat man U 3-0"
Especially the ones where to rivals pray for him to bless them and make them win. Who does he choose?
I would also say that god does not have ears like u and I. so saying it out load is pointless.

In Islamic teaching, you can say your prayer loudly, softly or silently. However certain type of prayers are encouraged to be said loudly, softly and silently depending on the situations or circumstances.
